Girls Win Jackson Twilight Meet

The Lady Bees captured the team championship at the Jackson Twilight Meet on Friday night. Senior Becki Famurewa led the way winning both the shot put and discus. Once again, Becki broke her own school record in the discus with her throw of 147'. Other event winners included Tabitha Jacofsky in the 800 (2:20), Veronica Thompson in the 400m (58.7)and 200m (26.7), and the 4x400 relay of Prendergast, D'Agostino, Jacofsky, and Thompson (4:05.8).
