A SCHOOL RECORD & a few TOP TEN Times!

The Lady Bees travelled to Medina to compete in the Medina Relays on Saturday. The team placed 5th but had some exciting performances. The Distance Medley Relay broke the school record by over 15 seconds! The senior quartet of Megan Beaver, Jill Bajaksouzian, Veronica Thompson, and Lauren Greenlee ran 12:39...the fast time in Bee history! Two other relays ran fast enough to make the Top Ten list in Bee history. The Sprint Medley of Hannah Sekerak, Erin Beaver, Veronica Thompson, and Rachel Kotchman ran 1:52.82 which is 4th on the all time list and placed 5th in the meet. The 4 x mile relay ran the 2nd fastest time in school history with a 22:14 and took 3rd place at the meet. The 4 x mile relay was ran by Jill Bajaksouzian, Lauren Greenlee, Megan Beaver, and Sarah Schlabig. In the pole vault, Jessica Matia jumped 8'0 in her first time ever vaulting which earned her a spot on the TOP TEN list. Great job Bees!

CYO Meets

Bresckville will be hosting two CYO track meets this year at BBHHS, one on April 15th, the other on the 29th.

If any of your kids (or friends) would be interested in helping, please have them email Coach G and I will forward your info to Coach Drumm. He will be happy to take workers for either or both days. You will have the choice of using the hours for service or for pay ($30 for each afternoon). You can do it either way or a combination (one for pay, one for service, for example); whatever works best for you. The time commitment would be roughly noon to 5:00. The event order is different this year and we will have hurdles, so will need a few extra minutes to set up.

He needs to get 16-18 volunteers, so feel free to share this to other parents/high school kids you think would be interested.

Anyone interested, please let me know ASAP.
