University of Mount Union is located at 1972 Clark Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601
Take I-77 south to Canton, then Rt. 62 east. Take the Alliance exit. Turn right. The College will be on your LEFT (Clark Ave.) and is approximately 2.5 miles down.

Start planning ahead....

* Cycling sign-up: Don't forget to sign up for Thursday. You do not need to bring $...the cost will be covered for you. Bring a towel, water, and extra pair of shoes.

* University of Akron Workout Night Tuesday, Feb 7th.

We need at least 10 people signed up to go as a team.

Field Events & Sprinters are strongly encouraged to attend.


* Our next meet will be Sat., Feb 18th at University of Akron.

You must attend SIX practices from Feb 1st-Feb 17th in order to be eligible to compete. Attendance will be taken at practice. If you don't show up for practice, don't expect to compete in the meet. Meet sign up will be posted next week.

WED PRACTICE MOVED TO HIGH SCHOOL

Practice for WED, JAN 18th is being moved to the High School due to weather. It is suppose to be nasty tomorrow and want to get the message out to everyone now. Please pass along to others.

HIGH SCHOOl 3:30-4:45
Seniors will lead strength circuit, followed by warm up routine. Hopefully we can get outside for a little bit to do our hill workout.

*Also, you should get in another day of lifting "on your own" this week. Get with a teammate and do DAY 1 lifting (should start with bench). Folders and sheets are in the weightroom. If you have questions ask a senior.

Sign up for YOGA / SPINNING here.

Cost is $5 per session. Bring a small towel, bottle of water, extra shoes, and a large towel/yoga mat. We will spin and do some yoga/stretching afterwards.
You cannot wear your street shoes in the studio as the snow/ice will ruin the bikes! Make sure you have a dry pair of shoes to wear...running shoes are fine. Questions? Ask Coach G.

Print and complete waiver form. (You only need to do this once.)

* The meet for Friday, Jan 20th has been cancelled.

* The next Akrong Night that we are planning to attend in Jan 24th. Hopefully we have a group that is ready and willing to go this time! Plan ahead for this now.

* YSU Meet on Sunday, Feb 5th. Yes, we are planning on going however, there will be NO bus. Parents must provide transportation.

**Remember your intentions for this Spring. Our numbers at practice have been slim. Don't expect to have a great season if you aren't willing to put in some effort now!
