The Lady Bees traveled to Baldwin Wallace College tonight to compete in the Berea Relays. There was some very tough competition and the Bees placed 5th place as a team. Brunswick dominated the meet followed by Medina, North Royalton,Midpark, and then Brecksville-Broadview Hts. Several girls had PR's including Katherine Drumm in the shot put, Morgan Krejci in pole vault, and Tabitha Jacofsky ran a mile PR with her split in Distance Medley. The Distance Medley Relay broke the school record with their time of 12:54.68. The relay was ran by Megan Beaver (800-2:22), Vernoica Thompson (400-58.03), Libby Roether (1200-4:12), and Tabitha Jacofsky (1600-5:18).

Saturday Practice and Breakfast
There will be an OPTIONAL practice on Saturday April 30th as well as some other activities. You can come to any of the activities....if you can't make it to the practice but can meet up with the team afterwards that is fine. Parents and families are welcome to join!

Lady Bees Add Another WIN!
The Lady Bees Track & Field Team added another victory tonight as they defeated the Olmsted Falls Eagles 91-46. Finally it was a nice night at the track without wind or rain and the weather allowed for some great performances. A few more top 10 performances were added tonight(take a look at the list under "Results" section to the right.) and Veronica Thompson broke the school record in the 200m with her time of 26.1. Event winners included 4x800 (10:14: Squires, Rains, M. Beaver, and Majsturovic), Famurewa in the shot put (44'3".....she missed her school record by .25") and discus (131' 10"), D'Agostino (100m: 12.7), Polisena (HJ: 4'8), Maddox (LJ: 15' 2.25"), Roether (5:54 in the 1600m), Krejci (PV 8') Waugaman (300m hurdles 48.5), Jacofsky (800m 2:19), and Thompson (200m 26.1). Way to go ladies!

SENIOR NIGHT:Wed, April 20th is our last home meet. We will be recognizing our senior track athletes and their parents at 4:30 before the start of the 4 x 800.
TRACK PINIC:
Thurs., April 28th at 5:00 is our track team and family picnic "Out of the Blocks" at the Pavilion. Burgers & hot dogs will be provided. Team members will be asked to provide drinks, sides, desserts and snacks. More info coming soon.
*If any parent would like to volunteer with the picnic please let Mr. Greenlee know. Also, we are in need of a freshman parent to be part of the oranganizing group for this event.

Lady Bees win Twinsburg Invitational!
The Lady Bees Track & Field team had finally had their first outdoor meet of the season tonight at Twinsburg. Despite missing part of the team due to Spring Break trips, the girls were able to capture the win. Event winners included Morgan Krejci (pole vault), Ellen Prendergast (400), and the 4x800 relay (Megan Beaver, Jill Bajasouzian, Melissa Rains, and Lauren Greenlee, and Becki Famurewa (shot put & discus). Becki shattered the meet record in the discus with her throw of 138' 6". Great job ladies!
