First Indoor Meet Success!

A small group of athletes travelled to Mount Union to compete in this season's first indoor meet. Sam Strnad (7'-6") and Alyssa Dudas (7') both set indoor PR's in pole vault. The 4 x 200 relay of Van Valkenburgh, Dudas, Strnad, and Thompson finished 2nd place. Placing 4th in their heat was the freshman 4 x 200 relay of Dingee, Sekerak, Hudak, and Getknecht. Only two distance runners raced and despite it being their time indoor mile both girls ran like champs! Bajaksouzian won the girls mile with a time of 5:31 and Schlabig was 2nd in her heat with a time of 6:07.
