CONGRATS TO ALL-OHIO ATHLETES!!

3 Athletes qualified to the State Meet and all 3 earned trips to the podium!
Way to go Bees!!

Jamie Rachek- High Jump  8th place   5'4"

Sarah Okeafor- Shot Put  6th place  41" 0.75"

Rachel Kotchman- 800m 6th place  2:11.77

UNIFORMS NOT TURNED IN.....UPDATED

According to our records, the following athletes still have uniforms not turned in. If there is a mistake, please let Coach Kieser know ASAP (440-823-3397 or tagruski@yahoo.com).  This list will be turned into office at NOON Thursday and athletes' reports cards/diplomas are held until it is taken care of.  Thursday/Friday are the last days Coach Kieser will be in Brecksville to take care of these things...don't wait until school is out!

I started off this 2015 season intending to take pictures of my son (Erich Sonntag) and some of his track friends, but ended up taking many pictures of many track participants (boys and girls). I have attached the links to my pictures files that I'd like to share.  Note that these pictures are not public and can only be viewed by those that have the attached links.  If you think its appropriate, I'd be fine with you forwarding this to the team participants and their families. You may also forward my-email address (wrsonntag@gmail.com) in the event anyone has issues with downloading pictures they would like to keep.

Don't hesitate to also share with the other track coaches and those that may be interested in these pictures for the BBHHS Year Book.

State Meet Info

Wednesday:  Practice 2:45-3:45 for Rachel/Jamie, 3:30 for Sarah

 Friday: STATE MEET DAY 1 @ JESSE OWENS STADIUM  2450 Fred Taylor Drive, Columbus
Send off at BBHHS at approximately 9:00 AM. 
Complete weekend details will be provided to those making the trip.  I don't want to post hotel info, etc on a public website.

 Important State Meet Traffic Flow Announcement
All traffic coming to Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium for the state track & field meet should use the Ackerman Road exit from State Route 315. There are several high school graduations using the nearby Schottenstein Center at OSU, with that traffic being directed to use the Lane Avenue exit. (For reference, Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium is located at 2450 Fred Taylor Drive, Columbus, but please use the Ackerman Road exit even if coming from south of the stadium.)

Regional Recap

Last week the Lady Bees competed at the Austintown Fitch Div 1 Regionals.  It is one of the toughest regions in the state but they Bees were fierce!  Three girls qualified to the state meet this week in Columbus:  Jamie Rachek (High Jump), Sarah Okeafor (Shot Put), and Rachel Kotchman (800m).
